Sad to Leave Batumi!
October 13, 2021 Best make the most of today before it's back to Tbilisi in the morning! My favorite bartender/waiter is back today! That's a treat! I ask him for the menu with the pictures, thinking I'll find out what the Israeli breakfast looks like; but I think I'd better try the Georgian breakfast this morning, since our hotel for the next week has a glorious buffet, but not this! It appears to be two poached eggs awash in a somewhat spicy tomato sauce with onions, peppers, and a bit of cheese. And little slices of Jalapeno which I carefully move aside! Which isn't to say that I don't eat every drop! And that crusty, crispy toast! I bring some back for Ammar, 'cause I'm a good doobee and because I can't possibly eat four slices of it!
